Salenovo subscription terms
These terms cover the free Formation Index, the free two-week trial, the free weekly alert and paid subscriptions to Salenovo's weekly lists. They are written to be read, not skimmed; they are short because the service is simple.

1. Who you are dealing with
"Salenovo", "we" and "us" mean Salenovo Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17455275), registered office 10 George Close, Canvey Island, Essex, SS8 9PU. "You" means the firm or person taking the service; if you sign up with a work email you confirm you are entitled to bind that firm. The service is for businesses. Contact: hello@salenovo.com.
2. What the service is
A weekly email, with a spreadsheet attached, listing every company incorporated in your chosen council, region or the UK in the previous Monday-to-Sunday week, ranked A to E by our estimate of how likely each is to become a trading business, with a description of what each does, its entity type and sector, formation channel, accountant status, and — where our checks find them — a verified website, a generic business mailbox, the type of telephone number shown and any registered food premises. Companies are re-checked at 30, 90 and 180 days and reappear when something new is found. The sample week shows exactly what you get and the method page explains how it is produced and how accurate it is.
Scores and bands are predictions from public data. They are useful and we measure them, but no score is a promise that a company will trade, and no contact detail is a promise that it is still current on the day you use it.
3. The free two weeks
A trial is free for fourteen days from the day your first list is sent and needs no card. A few days before it ends we email you to ask whether you want to continue. If you do nothing, the lists stop and you owe nothing. If, in future, we ask for a card at sign-up, the trial will still be free and we will still remind you before it ends, but the subscription will then start automatically at the end of the trial unless you cancel before then — the sign-up form will say so clearly if that is the case. One trial per firm per area.
4. Fees and payment
- Prices are on the pricing page and are per calendar month, payable monthly in advance. At the time of writing the council tier is £29 a month at the founding price and £49 thereafter.
- The founding price is available to anyone who subscribes before 31 December 2026 and is locked for twelve months from the start of the subscription for as long as it continues without a break. After that, and for anyone subscribing later, the standard price applies. We give at least thirty days' notice by email before any other change to your price.
- Prices exclude VAT. We are not currently VAT-registered and charge none; if we register, VAT will be added at the prevailing rate from that date and your invoices will show it.
- Payment is by card through Stripe, or by bank transfer against a monthly invoice, whichever the payment email offers. If a payment fails or an invoice is more than fourteen days overdue we pause the lists until it is settled.
5. Cancelling and refunds
- There is no minimum term. Cancel at any time by replying to any of our emails or by writing to hello@salenovo.com; if you pay by card you can also cancel from the billing link in your payment emails. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have paid for, and you keep everything you have received.
- First-month guarantee. If you are not satisfied within fourteen days of your first payment, tell us and we will refund it in full.
- Otherwise months already paid are not refunded, except that if we fail to send a week's list we credit or refund that week pro rata, and if we withdraw the service (section 9) we refund any period you have paid for and not received.
6. What you may do with the data
Use it inside your own business. Load it into your CRM or practice software, keep everything you have received for as long as you like, contact the companies, and share it with colleagues in the same firm. That is what it is for.
Not for resale or republication. The company-level facts (name, number, date, SIC codes, registered office) are public-register data under the Open Government Licence and remain free for anyone to use. Salenovo's scores, bands, classifications, descriptions, verified contact details, premises matches and the selection and arrangement of the lists are ours (database right and copyright) and are licensed to you, not sold: they may not be sold on, published, posted, scraped, or supplied to any third party as a dataset or as part of one, and may not be used to build or train a competing product. An agency acting for a named client may use the data for that client's outreach only.
The free Formation Index, the JSON data files and the free council pages may be quoted and linked with attribution to Salenovo and to the underlying public sources.
7. Using the data lawfully
You are the controller of any outreach you do with the data and are responsible for it complying with UK GDPR, PECR and advertising rules. In particular you agree to:
- contact the companies only for business purposes connected with your own goods or services;
- say who you are in every message and give a simple way to opt out, and honour every opt-out you receive;
- not use the data to contact any individual in a personal capacity, and not to send bulk unsolicited email to any address that is not a generic business mailbox of a company or LLP;
- tell us at hello@salenovo.com if a company asks not to be contacted, so we can suppress it for every subscriber;
- keep the data secure and delete it if we ask you to because a company has exercised its rights.
We may suspend or end a subscription without refund if the data is resold, republished, or used in a way that breaks this section or the law.
8. Accuracy and liability
We build the lists from the Companies House register, ONS, FSA and ICO open data, and from each company's own website, and we check and re-check them, but we do not control those sources and do not warrant that any record is complete, current or correct, that any company will trade, or that any contact route will work. The service is provided as available; we aim to send every list on Monday morning and tell you if we cannot.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or data, or for indirect or consequential loss, however arising. You use the data at your own commercial judgement.
9. Changes, suspension and ending the service
We may improve or change what the lists contain and how they are delivered; we will not reduce what your tier includes without thirty days' notice. We may change these terms by posting a new version here and emailing subscribers at least thirty days before a material change takes effect; continuing to receive the lists after that date means you accept them. We may end the service altogether on thirty days' notice with a refund of any unused prepaid period. We may suspend or end your subscription immediately for non-payment or a breach of sections 6 or 7.
10. Privacy
How we use your details, and how we handle data about the companies in the lists, is set out in the privacy notice, which forms part of these terms. A company that wants to be removed from our data can ask at www.salenovo.com/remove/.
11. Law and everything else
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. They are the whole agreement between you and Salenovo Ltd for the service; if any part is found unenforceable the rest still applies. Neither of us is liable for delay caused by things outside our reasonable control. You may not transfer your subscription to someone else without asking us; we may transfer ours to a successor that takes over the service on the same terms.
