The UK saw 15,020 new companies incorporated in the week of 19 October to 25 October 2026, 5% below the year-earlier weekly average (adjusted for companies dissolved since). About 6,209 of them are expected to trade, judging by what happened to similar companies; 17% were registered at a mass-formation or virtual-office address. Among companies formed in the last 8 weeks, 10,421 already have a website verified as theirs and 1,925 have registered food premises.
