New business leads for B2B suppliers
How can a B2B supplier reach new companies before they choose their providers? Every new business picks a bank, a card terminal, a phone contract, payroll software and an energy supplier in its first months, and rarely changes them. Salenovo tells you which of the 14,543 companies formed in the UK last week are likely to be real, which are already trading (verified website, registered premises), and what they do — by council, weekly.
What you get
Fewer, better
About 5,261 of last week's 14,543 are expected to trade. Salenovo's ranking puts them at the top; the shells and property vehicles go to the bottom.
Trading now
Among companies formed in the last 8 weeks, 1,663 already have a verified website and 308 have registered premises. Those are the ones taking payments and needing a phone line this month.
Filter to your product
EPOS wants hospitality and retail; payroll wants anything with staff; telecoms wants premises. Sector and signal filters do that.
Compliant
Generic business mailboxes from the company's own website; no director names, no home addresses.
What one account is worth
A card terminal, phone contract or payroll account is £30–£150 a month for years, and new businesses rarely switch once set up. Two accounts a year from one council pay for the list.
A worked example: Chelmsford
Chelmsford last week: 41 incorporated, 16 expected to trade; over the last 8 weeks, 7 verified websites and 1 registered food premises. See the Chelmsford page, see a real week's list, or compare any area.

Your first week
- Monday: the digest arrives, ranked A to E, with sector and the trading signals — verified website, premises, no website yet.
- Filter to what your product needs: hospitality and retail for EPOS, anything with staff for payroll, premises for telecoms.
- Open the website where there is one so the first line of your message names what they do.
- Email the generic mailbox with one product, one price and one sentence on why new businesses choose it.
- Log replies; the same companies are re-checked at 30, 90 and 180 days and come back when a signal appears.
Two short messages that work — an email and a letter, with the one line that matters for your trade — are on the templates page.
Questions
When do new companies choose their suppliers?
Mostly in the first one to three months: the business bank account and card acceptance first, then phone and broadband, payroll when the first person is hired, insurance when premises or staff arrive. After that, inertia sets in.
Can I get a daily feed?
The weekly file is what every tier receives today. A daily feed URL, a daily top-band alert and an API are on the roadmap for the regional and national tiers; a founding customer who needs one can ask and we will build it with them rather than for a queue.
Method and accuracy — how the numbers are made: incorporations from the Companies House public register, mapped to councils with the ONS Postcode Directory; "expected to trade" from the historical outcomes of 447,000 companies formed in 2022 and 2024, by formation address and sector; websites verified by fetching the company's name-matching domain and checking it against the company; food premises from the Food Standards Agency's register. All Open Government Licence. Every row in the paid list carries its source and date.
