New companies in BR

The BR postcode area saw 61 new companies incorporated in the week of 19 October to 25 October 2026, 19% below the year-earlier weekly average (adjusted for companies dissolved since). About 25 of them are expected to trade, judging by what happened to similar companies. Rising this week: Construction, Professional services, Property. Among companies formed in the last 8 weeks, 42 already have a website verified as theirs and 11 have registered food premises.

Of the 6,493 companies formed in the BR postcode area between January 2022 and September 2023 at their own address, 56% were still on the register three years later and 38% had filed trading accounts (UK: 51% and 35%).
