New companies in LS

The LS postcode area saw 148 new companies incorporated in the week of 19 October to 25 October 2026, 17% below the year-earlier weekly average (adjusted for companies dissolved since). About 63 of them are expected to trade, judging by what happened to similar companies. Rising this week: Finance & insurance, IT & media, Retail & wholesale. Among companies formed in the last 8 weeks, 112 already have a website verified as theirs and 27 have registered food premises.
